New blog for teachers/schools!

I’ve been blogging here for parents raising bilingual/multilingual children for quite a few years, and over those years I’ve had many interested teachers sign up to my blog as well. In an effort to meet the needs of both communities, I recently started a new blog just for teachers/schools/school leaders on my Crisfield Educational Consulting website.

The posts on my new blog will cover the gamut of school needs related to languages – so far I’ve blogged about home languages, host country languages, translanguaging and EAL, to name a few. Upcoming posts are on CLIL, accelerating CALP, and a continuation of my “Spotlight on Good Practice” series.

Please come over and join in the discussion, and share widely so we can build a community of language-interested teachers and schools! As with this blog, I am always happy to take questions and turn them into a blog post.
