Testing bilinguals in English: Do we get any useful information?

I’m on holidays and trying not to think too much about issues like testing, but I couldn’t pass this one up. It’s an interesting precis of a study examining how accurate English-language testing is at identifying language delays in bilinguals (in the US). Not surprisingly, the answer is that it isn’t as accurate as it should be, or needs to be.
